About the Owner

Nakita is the owner and founder of The Pop Shop, and the mother of two sweet girls, Kenna and Jolie. She started working with balloons before her oldest daughter’s first birthday party because, just like all of us, she was inspired by the beautiful balloon designs she had seen all over the internet. A few Youtube videos, hours of online balloon courses, many late nights of practice, and countless balloons later, she made her dream of being a small business owner a reality and launched The Pop Shop in April of 2021.

Since then, she continues to find joy and gratitude in creating memorable celebrations for others and collaborating with other creatives in the event industry.
